It was founded in 1960 as Rajasthan Spinning & Weaving Mills Limited in Calcutta, India, and is now headquartered in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. RSWM is one of the largest manufacturers and exporters of synthetic and blended spun yarns from India, and supplies yarns and fabrics to brands in over 76 countries.
RSWM is a listed company in the National Stock Exchange (NSE) and Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE). It has ten operational facilities across India, and its marketing footprints span across 80 countries. RSWM has won awards such as the Rajiv Gandhi National Quality Award, Golden Trading House, Rajasthan Energy Conservation Award, and Texprocil Export Award.
RSWM is committed to keeping the environment green. The company saves 1350 Kilolitres of water every day, reduces 8 Lac Tonnes of C02 Emissions annually, and recycles 30 Tonnes of Fabric per Month.
