Rajapalayam Mills Limited is a company that manufactures cotton yarn and textile in India. Founded in 1936, it was the first spinning mill in India to use Casa Blanca Drafting, and the first to install an Automatic Cone Winding Machine. In 1982, the company received the first Open End Spinning machines from Rieter, Switzerland.
Rajapalayam Mills Limited is the flagship mill of Ramco Group Textile Division. Some of its subsidiaries include Rajapalayam Textile Ltd. and Rajapalayam Spinners Limited. The company’s brands include Yogam, Chakkaram, Delight, New World, Mesa verdy, Gemini, and Ramco Amsler. Rajapalayam Mills Limited exports to Japan, Italy, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, and Dubai.
