It has three main product areas: branded, generics, and specialty pharmaceuticals. Concord Drugs is one of India’s top suppliers of generics.
Concord Drugs has two manufacturing facilities that meet the standards of regulatory bodies. The company’s facilities include a cGMP contract manufacturing formulation-fill-finish facility that provides pharmaceutical development and manufacturing services. Concord Drugs also offers the Multiple Unit Pellets System (MUPS), which has several advantages. MUPS allows for rapid transit of micro pellets from the stomach to the small intestine, which can lead to better drug absorption and bio-availability. The smaller volume of tablets can also lead to better patient compliance than capsules.
