Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) is a public sector undertaking of the Government of India that produces oil and gas. It was formed in 1964 when Indian Oil Company Limited and Indian Refineries Limited merged. IOCL is the largest government-owned oil producer in India by both capacity and revenue. It has a refining capacity of 80.55 million metric tons per year, which it plans to increase to 107 million metric tons per year by 2024-25.
