Naperol Investments Ltd is a company that manufactures hydrogen peroxide, sodium perborate, peracetic acid, compressed hydrogen gas, litharge, and PVC stabilizers. It is listed on the BSE with the code 500298, and on the NSE with the symbol NATPEROXID and ISIN INE585A01020. The company’s registered office is located at Neville House, J. N. Heredia Marg, Ballard Estate, Mumbai-400001, Maharashtra.
Naperol Investments Ltd peroxygens division produces hydrogen peroxide and persalts, while its plastic additives division produces litharge and PVC stabilizers. The company’s hydrogen peroxide is used in applications such as chemical synthesis, textile bleaching, paper pulp bleaching, sugar bleaching, non-edible oil bleaching, water and effluent treatment, and metallurgy.
Naperol Investments Ltd was established in 1954, and in 1956 it set up India’s first hydrogen peroxide plant based on the electrolytic process. In 1960, the company expanded its manufacturing range at the Wadala plant to include sodium perborate, and in 1962 it further expanded the hydrogen peroxide plant to an annual capacity of 1,050 tonnes.
