Diversification: In 2021, Saurashtra Cement Limited expanded into the paints industry by acquiring the “Snowcem” brand and its paint business. This broadened its business beyond cement, offering products like exterior power paints and interior emulsion paints.
Merger: In 2023, Saurashtra Cement and Gujarat Sidhee Cement merged, with the amalgamation becoming effective in March 2023. This resulted in the issuance of new equity shares to Gujarat Sidhee Cement shareholders.
