Deccan Gold Mines Ltd. (DGML) is an Indian gold exploration company. DGML is the first and only gold exploration company listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange Limited (BSE). The company has explored gold in India and abroad, including in the states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. DGML has a 40% stake in Geomysore Services India Limited, which is developing the first private sector gold mine at Jonnagiri.
DGML has explored regions spanning approximately 6,574 square kilometers, including the Dharwar Shimoga Belt, Hutti-Maski Belt, Mangalur Schist Belt, and Ramagiri Schist Belt. The Dharwar-Shimoga Belt Project area is part of Archaean Western Dharwar Craton in the state of Karnataka.
DGML has two commercially operating gold mines in 2024 and is committed to providing significant value to its shareholders. The company has some of the best gold prospects in the country, geologically similar to areas that have been home to major world gold discoveries.
