Texmaco Rail & Engineering Ltd. (TEXMACO) is a private engineering and infrastructure company in India that manufactures railway wagons, coaches, and locomotives, and provides related services. The company was founded by Krishna Kumar Birla in 1939 and is headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal. TEXMACO has five manufacturing units that cover over 170 acres on the outskirts of Kolkata.
