Amal Ltd was founded in 1974 and is headquartered in India. The company’s plant is located in Ankleshwar, Gujarat, India, and has an installed capacity of approximately 140 metric tons (mt) per day of sulphuric acid, including downstream products.
Amal Ltd’s product portfolio includes: oleum, sulphuric acid, sulphur dioxide, and sulphur trioxide.

1986: Company name changes to Amal Rasayan Ltd from Piramal Rasayan Ltd
1995: Company name changes to Amal Products Ltd
2003: Company name changes to Amal Ltd
