Pokarna Limited is an India-based company that quarries, manufactures, and sells granite, and also manufactures and sells apparel under the brand name Stanza. Founded in 1991 by Gautam Chand Jain, Pokarna is India’s largest exporter of finished granite and one of Asia’s largest, exporting to over 12 countries. Pokarna’s quarries produce a variety of colors, including Acacia, Black Galaxy, Coffee Brown, Flash Blue, Pokarna Green, Sapphire Blue, Seaweed Green, Silver Pearl, and Vizag Blue. Their product range includes random slabs, tiles, and cultosize.
Pokarna is headquartered in Secunderabad, Telangana, and is a listed public company. In 2002, Pokarna’s Black Galaxy quarry in Andhra Pradesh was named the best mechanized quarry in the country. In 2005, the company expanded into apparel manufacturing with a new factory at the Apparels Export Park near Hyderabad.
